around the northwest corner at Queen and Bathurst. Brock Shepherd
opened this exquisite café several years ago, and has been doing
well ever since. No wonder. Dark, low lighting, white peanut bulbs
strung on branches in the front window, canvas wall coverings and
a predominantly rich green and brown colour decor, it is a tiny
gem of good taste. This taste is reflected in their rich and delicious
bodum coffee (spelled “kauffee” here, just for the hell of it).
The setting is comfortable and the art is fascinating. cheapeats
